After graduating with a degree in economics from the University of Guelph, Scotty Robinson took off to Vancouver to work in a mine. "That's how close I came to using my degree," he laughs. "I went to the extreme--grew my hair down to my nipples, grew the beard, pierced ears, leather pants..." Now, the 51-year-old self-described wanderer runs a successful bike tour company, Off-Beat Roads. "I never learned how to tie a tie and I'm proud of that," he laughs.
